Our goal is to build a home for the Kostenbauder family at no cost to them. However, there are some general expenses that we also need to tackle. In order to build this home, we need to pay off the $100,000 mortgage the property currently holds. Every cent we can get towards paying this off is one step closer to completing this project.

Per laws and regulations, in order to build this new home on the property, we need to pay off the existing mortgage of the home. Most often this is done with a construction loan from a bank that pays off the mortgage in addition to supplying funds for the construction of the home on the property. However, since we’re building this home for free, there is no bank or loan to help pay off this cost.

The family has been close to Phil’s heart for years. His children used to attend youth events on the property and the family attends his church. Their son, Caleb, is a disabled man who desperately needs his own space. Right now, the home as is, is not sufficient for the family’s needs. Our goal is to build them a new home that gives everyone their space while also giving them the tools they need to utilize the space effectively.
